GISGA 2014

The 2014 GISGA Gymnastics tournament was hosted for the third year at Kent College from the 1st - 2nd March and we were delighted to welcome over 350 gymnasts, supporters and families from across the UK and Europe to share in the success of the talented gymnast teams from 16 different schools.

For Kent College the event was full of success for our competing gymnasts with the U10 Prep School team placed 3rd overalland the Over 13 team who gained silver medals for both the group floor routine and their over all placement – beaten only by Tormead who are captained by a British gymnast. Maisie Cox in Yr 9 was the fifth placed individual in the O13 group and Tamsin Davis in Yr 11 achieved a fantastic result and was placed 7th individually in the O13 group despite only recently beating cancer - a super personal achievement and many congratulations to her.
